As unpredictability continues to reshape our world, it is increasingly crucial to explore and understand the challenges and opportunities presented by the changing global environment. The need for innovative approaches, insightful research and collaborative efforts is becoming even more evident. Therefore, I strongly believe that the AIB meeting will be an excellent opportunity for participants to exchange ideas, present pioneering research and gain valuable insights that will shape the future of international business education. .
SGH Warsaw School of Economics is the oldest, most prestigious and innovative university of economics and management in Poland and the region. Our mission is to train socially responsible leaders capable of meeting the challenges of the future. Our university enrolls over 10,000 students and offers a wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses, including bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programs in English. For decades, SGH alumni have played an important role in shaping Poland’s political and economic landscape.

Additionally, in July 2022, SGH was awarded the Business School Impact System (BSIS) label by EFMD Global and FNEGE in recognition of our achievements and the successful completion of the BSIS Impact improvement process.
Since the early 1990s, SGH has been at the forefront of educational initiatives in collaboration with international partners. It offers 17 double degree programs with European and non-European universities. As the only Polish university, SGH is proud to be a member of the prestigious CEMS MIM program and the Partnership in International Management (PIM) network. In addition, since 2022, SGH Warsaw School of Economics has joined CIVICA – The European University of Social Sciences, an alliance comprising leading European universities with 72,000 students and (post)doctoral researchers, as well as 20,000 members of the academic and administrative staff across Europe.
In addition to our commitment to teaching excellence, reflected in outstanding placement rates and a strong reputation with employers, SGH is recognized for its research activities, with the internationalization of research being our strategic goal. .
Our teachers are affiliated with many international associations. Among them are the Academy of International Business (AIB), the International Entrepreneurship Development Forum (IEDF), the International Association of French Language Economists (AIELF), The Risk, Banking and Finance Society, The Institute for Operations Research and the Management Sciences (INFORME), and many others.
I am proud that the Academy of International Business occupies a prominent place within our vast global network of scientific contacts.
